Tacoronte dresses up for carnival with its emblematic “Piñata Chica”.

This celebration, which takes place in the lively surroundings of La Estación, transforms the city into a scene of collective joy where neighbors and visitors enjoy days full of rhythm, color and tradition.

Organized by the Department of Festivities, the Piñata Chica has long-awaited events such as the Grand Gala Election of the Queen, starring young people from the municipality representing various associations and groups. The highlight comes with the Gran Coso Apoteosis, a vibrant parade in which floats, troupes and carnival groups from all over the island travel through the streets in an explosion of creativity and celebration.

More than a celebration, the Piñata Chica is a living expression of the tacorontero carnival, which grows every year keeping its original spirit intact.
